Tauranga Weddings
Tauranga is such a beautiful place to get married. From harbour views and coastal light to relaxed venues tucked away around the city, there are so many different ways to celebrate here.
I've photographed weddings throughout Tauranga over the years, and I love that no two have ever felt the same. Some have been big celebrations surrounded by friends and family, others have been smaller and much more relaxed. I've photographed beautiful venue weddings, getting-ready moments overlooking the water, and couples who have simply wanted to spend their day together without making everything feel too formal.
For me, photographing a Tauranga wedding is about more than photographing the venue. It's about noticing the little things happening around it — the nerves before the ceremony, the hugs from family, the ridiculous moments with friends and the quiet few minutes when the two of you finally get a chance to breathe.
Whether you're getting married somewhere overlooking the harbour, at a beautiful local venue or in your own backyard, I'd love to tell the story of your day honestly and naturally.
Take a look through some of the Tauranga weddings I've photographed below.

More than just a wedding photographer
Your wedding photographs should feel like your wedding — not a collection of perfectly posed moments that could belong to anyone.
I’m all about giving you space to actually enjoy your day. I’ll guide you when you need a little direction, but I’m just as happy stepping back and letting the real moments happen.
The laughter, the happy tears, the ridiculous dance moves, the people you love, and all the little things you probably didn't even notice on the day.
That’s the stuff I want you to remember.

Real love stories
Every wedding is different, and that's exactly how it should be.
If you want to see more of the real stories behind the photographs, have a wander through some of the weddings I've photographed around New Zealand.
From relaxed backyard celebrations to beautiful country venues and big family gatherings, these are real couples, real moments and real wedding days — exactly as they happened.
