Tamahere Garden Wedding | M + C

Micheala and Christopher’s wedding in Tamahere unfolded on one of those rare, perfectly timed autumn days—warm sun, soft light, and just enough of the season’s colour still lingering in the trees. The last of the cherry blossoms framed the day like they were holding on just a little longer for something special.

There was a calmness to the morning that carried through the entire celebration. Everything felt intentional but effortless, with a focus on connection, presence, and the people who matter most. Micheala got ready surrounded by gentle anticipation, every detail thoughtfully brought together by a team of incredible vendors who helped bring her vision to life.

As the day moved forward, the atmosphere shifted into something quietly emotional and full. Christopher’s reaction, the way they looked at each other, and the still moments in between all told their story far better than words ever could. Nothing felt rushed—just two people fully present in a day they had waited for, stepping into it with ease and certainty.

Golden light wrapped itself around them as the day softened into evening, giving us the most beautiful conditions for portraits. Those final cherry blossoms, delicate and fleeting, became a perfect backdrop—almost like they were meant to be there for just this moment.

Micheala and Christopher, thank you for trusting me to document your day exactly as it was—honest, beautiful, and entirely yours.
