Rotorua Weddings
Rotorua has a completely different feeling again. There's something incredibly atmospheric about getting married surrounded by native bush, lakes, beautiful gardens and the geothermal landscape that makes the area so distinctive.
I've photographed weddings in Rotorua and love the way the landscape naturally becomes part of the story. Whether you're getting married at a beautiful local venue, celebrating beside the lake or surrounded by trees, there's so much texture and atmosphere to work with.
But just like anywhere else, I don't want your wedding photographs to be all about the location. The photographs that matter most are the ones that bring you straight back to the people and the feeling of the day.
The nervous excitement before the ceremony. Your friends crying when you walk down the aisle. Your grandparents dancing. The chaos of getting everyone organised for a group photograph. The two of you sneaking away for five quiet minutes while everyone else is celebrating.
