Mt Maunganui Weddings
There's something pretty special about getting married around Mount Maunganui. The ocean, the beaches, the Mount itself and that gorgeous Bay of Plenty light give the area such a relaxed, summery feeling — even when your wedding isn't actually on the beach.
I've photographed celebrations around Mount Maunganui and love the variety of possibilities here. You can have a beautiful venue wedding, wander down to the beach for some photographs, or simply let the location become part of the story without making it feel like a photoshoot.
And that's really how I like to photograph weddings. If you want photographs by the water, we'll make the most of it. If you'd rather stay with your people and spend your day laughing, eating and celebrating, that's completely fine too.
The best photographs often happen in between the things you've carefully planned — a quick walk together, wind catching a veil, your friends making you laugh or the two of you watching the sunset after the formalities are over.
Here are some of the Mount Maunganui celebrations I've had the privilege of photographing.

More than just a wedding photographer
Your wedding photographs should feel like your wedding — not a collection of perfectly posed moments that could belong to anyone.
I’m all about giving you space to actually enjoy your day. I’ll guide you when you need a little direction, but I’m just as happy stepping back and letting the real moments happen.
The laughter, the happy tears, the ridiculous dance moves, the people you love, and all the little things you probably didn't even notice on the day.
That’s the stuff I want you to remember.

Real love stories
Every wedding is different, and that's exactly how it should be.
If you want to see more of the real stories behind the photographs, have a wander through some of the weddings I've photographed around New Zealand.
From relaxed backyard celebrations to beautiful country venues and big family gatherings, these are real couples, real moments and real wedding days — exactly as they happened.
